Krezzin's Zonemeter - HOC Edition
Unique looking, Zone inspired, Skif liked, Sidorovich endorsed, Stalkers loved Rainmeter hardware data tracking skin
Versions:
Download:
1.01.1 1.21.2.1
Features:
- Displays CPU, GPU, RAM and FPS data in real time through a fancy looking widget-based interface, with both values* and progress bar.
(* - temperature widgets are color coded - Green being normal, Yellow - cautious and Red - dangerous.)
- Lets you tailor anything to your needs, like moving and/or disabling widgets.
- Comes pre-packed with multiple layouts to choose from, "Circlesphere - Sides - Middle" is the default option.
NOTES:
- Only tested on nVidia GPUs as I don't have access to a Radeon card, but I guess it should work fine.
Installation:
1. Download and install the latest version of Rainmeter* and MSI Afterburner*.
(* - both Rainmeter and MSI Afterburner should be running as Afterburner pulls data from hardware sensors, which then Rainmeter inputs on the screen.)
2. Open MSI Afterburner, go to Settings, Monitoring tab and put a checkmark on "Enable Framerate tracking"*
(* - only needed for the FPS widget to work)
3. Install the skin by running the .rmskin file and following the on-screen instructions*
(* - make sure you have checkmarked all layouts and plugins)
Usage:
You can change the layouts easily - open Rainmeter by right-clicking on the droplet icon in the taskbar, press Manage, go to Layouts and load the layout you want. Alternatively, you can do it by right-clicking on the droplet icon in the taskbar, click Layouts and choose the layout.
You can position the widgets however you like on the screen - since widgets are locked by default to prevent accidental moving, you have to uncheck "Disable dragging" option in Settings menu then just drag around.
You can use the "RCT SYS ON" widget to can keep up to date with newer version - left-click on the icon and it'll pop open my blog page for you.
You can use the "RCT SYS OFF" widget to close the skin when you dont need it - left-click on the icon and it'll automatically close the app.
NOTES:
If you have more than 16 GB RAM and 8 GB VRAM, you have to enter the amounts yourself, since there is no automated way to detect that at the moment.
Open "RAMUsage\ramusage.ini" and "GPUUsageMemory\gpuusagememory.ini" files, found in "%USERPROFILE%\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\Krezzin's Zonemeter - HOC Edition I - Circlesphere" and manually enter the amount as described in the files themselves.
Look for this line:
RAMUsage\ramusage.ini:
MaxValue=16000 ;set the amount of your System memory, for example - if you have 16GB RAM, type 16000, 32000, 64000, 12800, etc.
and
GPUUsageMemory\gpuusagememory.ini:
MaxValue=6000 ;set the amount of your GPU memory, for example - if you have 8GB VRAM, type 8000
